Notes This manuscript is a summary of the great book by Syeikh Samarqandi which explains the basic beliefs in Islam. Starting from a discussion of the oneness of Allah, followed by the pillars of faith, an explanation of the jurisprudence of worship such as fasting during Ramadan and prostration of forgetfulness (sujud sahwi), to an explanation of the nature of Allah and the Messenger.
