Notes	Praise be to God who bestowed the highest ranks on the people of stations, and singled out the eloquent people with the most eloquent languages, and honored them with the clarification of meanings and the meanings of eloquence, for they are the possessors of noble deeds, even if an opponent opposes them and disputes - even in childhood - he dies. We praise Him for His abundant blessings, and we thank Him with the gratitude of one who has been given eloquent wisdom, and we bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, who has revealed to the Arabic language His clear verses, and we bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, the most eloquent eloquent speaker. And he informed the eloquent people and the one to whom the Great Qur’an was revealed, and it is one of the greatest miracles.... The memorizers have collected this and others like it* Abel, Abal Nasir, and Ansar, and this is for my life the last of the best that* I have chosen from this explanation and thought. If you see a flaw, cover it and do not argue, for God is without a doubt a curtain. And if it shines, then grant me supplication, perhaps by it*** it will remove from me sins and burdens. And O our Lord, bless the most generous of the poor. And who among all creation is chosen, the Book has been fulfilled...
