Notes Sheikh Brigadier General Al-Sayyid, may God prolong his life and perpetuate his glory, the heart of the people of virtue, the full moon of the stars of the earth, the unifier of glory, and the organizer of the rule of kingship. So may God perpetuate the beauty of the world with his survival, and associate happiness with its times and conditions, and He will not deprive him of the joy of hearing, the comfort of the eye, the strength of the heart, the joy of the soul, the elevation of the hand, the coolness of the liver, and the progress of the foot, and He made over his virtues and characteristics an everlasting protection, by His benevolence and the breadth of His mercy, and when the grace of the Sheikh included me. Brigadier General Al-Sayyid - may God continue to support him - and his righteousness enslaved me, burdened me with it, and made me unable to thank him. I remembered the poet’s saying: I mortgaged my hand with the inability to thank his righteousness ***And beyond my gratitude there is more to be thankful for, even if it were something he could do, I could do it***but what is not possible is intense, and when I admired and struggled with his line that flows like magic, and his beauty rises above adjectives, and I liked and was delighted by his wording that speaks of the breeze of the wind, fragrant with basil and palm, I mentioned what some of the Zahiri people said: If the ignorant knew what etiquette is, they would be certain that it is rapture, so I would love to serve his council - may God protect him and keep him company - with a book that includes similarities in his words, characteristics of his virtues, lineages between him and the soul, and between the heart a reason, beautiful coquettish words, and wonderful songs of joy... If a person achieves his hopes, he has no proposal after that. May God reach the Sheikh, the Brigadier, the Sayyed’s hopes, and match his conditions. Glory and popularity, and it has increased his share of the path and ambiance, and has not freed him from the judgment of the Arabs, and he has enjoyed it best with this book, and with all other manners. I have finished his books as best I have memorized of the conditions of this honorable book by his name, fragrant with his remembrance, blessed be he at the beginning and the end, and I did not devote my effort to brevity, and choosing from the Chosen One, hoping that he would represent me in the service of His Presence, and improve my succession in His populated assembly for the duration of His glory, until... I follow his example with what he raises for his goodness, and I ask God for success for the purpose of serving him, and I thank His grace, for His grace and the abundance of His mercy, and God is the Granter of success. The book of those from whom the singer was absent has been fulfilled.
