Notes
Praise be to God, who is alone in His Most High Name, who is unique in His most sublime glory, without whom there is no end and beyond which there is a goal. And the most compassionate and merciful of them, He purified him in spirit and body, removed from him blemish and stigma, gave him wisdom and judgement, opened blind eyes, uncircumcised hearts, and deaf ears, so he believed in him, and he encouraged and helped him who God made a portion for him in the spoils of happiness, and he lied about him and neglected his verses, for whom God has decreed misery for sure. (And whoever is blind in this will be blind in the Hereafter) may God bless him. May peace and blessings be upon his family and companions. As for what follows, God has illuminated my heart and your heart with the lights of certainty, and He has been kind to me and to you as He has been kind to His pious saints: whom God has honored by His sanctity, and made them monstrous than the Caliph with His kindness, and has singled them out from knowing Him, and witnessing the wonders of His kingdom and the effects of His power, with what filled their hearts with apathy, and filled their minds with confusion in His greatness, so they made their concern for Him one, and in the two worlds they did not see anyone but Him as a witness, so by witnessing His beauty and majesty they enjoy. And between the traces of his power and the wonders of his greatness, they hesitate, and by turning to him and trusting in him, they are strengthened, in harmony with the truth of his saying: (Say God, then leave them in their midst playing), for you repeated the question to me in a collection that includes defining the value of the Chosen One, peace and blessings be upon him, and the reverence and honor due to him, and what is the ruling on someone who does not fulfill a duty so great, or falls short of the right to his venerable position, Qalama Zafar, and I will gather for you an article from our predecessors and imams on that, and I will explain it by downloading pictures. And proverbs: Know, may God honor you, that you have burdened me with hardship, and exhausted me with what you put me through with difficulty, and promoted me with what cost me a difficult advancement, which filled my heart with terror.... Abu Imran said about a man who said, “If Abu Bakr al-Siddiq testified against me, that if he wanted his testimony in such a matter in which one witness is not permissible, then there is no blame on him, and if he wanted other than this, then he should be beaten to the point of death, they mentioned a narration.” Judge Abu al-Fadl said: Here our statement has ended in what we have written, and the purpose we have set has been accomplished, and the condition we have stipulated has been fulfilled, which I hope is that in every section of it the aspirant has a convincing, and in every section an approach to what he seeks and a tendency. In it, I will be satisfied with what I narrate for what I narrate, and to God Almighty, abundant in supplication and gratitude for accepting what he says for His sake, and for pardoning the adornment and pretense of others, and for granting us that with the beauty of His generosity and pardon for the honor entrusted to us by His Chosen One and the Trustworthy of His Revelation. Of those who will not be increased when the substitute is far from his basin, and He makes it for us and for those who care about registering it and acquiring it, a reason that connects us to its causes, and a treasure that we will find on the Day when every soul will find the good that it has done present, by which we will gain His satisfaction and His abundant reward. And he opened insight to realize the truths of what we have deposited and understood, and we seek refuge in Him, may His name be glorified, from a supplication that is not heard, knowledge that is not of benefit, and work that is not lifted up, for He is the Generous One who does not disappoint, does not support those who let Him down, does not reject the call of those who seek it, and does not correct the work of corruptors, and He is sufficient for us and the best disposer of affairs...
