Notes	…After praising God and praying for His Messenger Muhammad, the best of His creation, and for all his family and companions, some friends asked me to write a treatise on the instrument that I called the rectifier circle. I answered his question, and I ask God to benefit from it its owner, its reader, and the one who looks at it. He is All-Powerful as He wills. I have arranged it into an introduction, fifteen chapters, and a conclusion. The introduction is about the description of the instrument and how it draws, so I say the totality of the instrument is half a three-dimensional or hollow wooden circle with a house in its middle. A needle and around the four sides and the niches of the country on the circle and in its diameter is a ninety-meter ruler... The conclusion is in knowing the extraction of the risings in the middle of the moon and the past and the rest of it and of the planet. Extract the merit of the circle of the moon for each hour of it by half a degree. The merit of the average circle is obtained. Increase it for the risings of the average if it is in the east side and decrease it if it is in the west side. You will get the risings in the middle of the moon... And you also do thanks to the circle of the planet without modification, and this amount is enough for whoever He wanted to work with this machine, otherwise it is possible to perform other works to determine the deflection of the wall without the presence of the sun and other works, and this is apparent to whoever has the slightest skill, and God Almighty knows what is right, and to Him is the return and the return...
