Sample Text
Manuscript compiled from works related to astronomical instruments, mathematics, and timekeeping, probably written by Egyptian astronomer and mathematician Sibt al-Maridini, with this anonymous copy likely produced in the 1830s. Written in black ink with some words and phrases written in red. Originally one volume, but is now in two separate parts due to a broken thread in the spine. Includes some marginal illustrations and tables, and a calendar in the Islamic system prepared using red and black ink.
