| Sample Text | In this book, the author of the book, Imam Al-Taftazani, spoke briefly about theology. For those who do not know it, theology is the science of religious beliefs based on certain evidence using logical, philosophical, and other arguments. The science of theology among Muslim theologians was strongly influenced by the philosophy of the Greek Aristotle. After Al-Taftazani narrated the foundations of the science of logic and theology, he proceeded to narrate the foundations of the Ash'arite belief in divinities and other matters and compare them with the beliefs of other sects such as the Mu'tazila, Qadariyya, Kharijites and others. |
