Sample Text This manuscript of the Gospel of Saint Luke dates from the 18th century. The text is clearly written and surrounded by a frame of red double lines, and the pages of the manuscript are numbered with Coptic numerals. The manuscript contains numerous marginal notes and references from the Old Testament, all in Arabic, and Coptic numerals are used with citations of chapters and verses. Wadih Muftah may have added the footnote, as his name appears on the last pages of the introduction. In different handwriting and missing frame. The cover of the work is made of brown leather, glued to panels and equipped with an envelope flap. The volume may be part of a collection, and there is no indication of the name of the copyist or the date and place of copying. The chapter titles in the text of the Gospel are indicated in red. The work has a comprehensive table of contents.
