| Sample Text | This work was written by Muhammad al-Amidi (died 1786 [1180 AH?]) and examines the concept of knowledge, both as present and as attainable. The author explores the disagreement between philosophers and jurists about the nature of divine knowledge, and the difference between divine knowledge and human knowledge. The copy of this manuscript dates back to 1805. This manuscript was included in the Bašaček Collection of Islamic manuscripts located in the University Library in Bratislava in Slovakia, which was included by UNESCO in the Memory of the World Register of Documentary Heritage in 1997. |
