| Sample Text | The writer says that we have only relied in this letter on mentioning the nineteenth-century writers from Aleppo, that is, those who had well-known poetry or some of whose poetry has reached us, as well as those who participated in a range of sciences and famous works. We did not address the translations of jurists and scholars of a specific science such as grammar and medicine. We must declare that we wrote these translations, without identifying any of them for any writer. Then a letter from one of our loyal scholars came to us alerting us that some of those whom we translated had had their translations published in some magazines before we did this. |
