Notes The translator’s lover spent seven days and nights delving into his old memory, searching for the beginning of his journey to the “Land of Crosses.” A dream project that his father did not accomplish, so he decided to carry it to his son while he was a boy, depriving him of the abundance of his first love for an orphaned Jewish girl. While the old translator struggled to hide his tears, he decided to write down the first moments of his love himself, ashamed of telling them to his obedient servant to write them down.
