The life of the boy Khader, from the Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem, seems to be a series of painful incidents. He does not like his school or studying there, and with the absence of his father, who resides in a psychiatric hospital, Khader suffers from the mockery of his classmates. As for movement in his besieged city, it is limited, as he has never seen the sea, and has never gone to Jerusalem. Life may be tough for this sixteen-year-old boy, but one rainy evening, a strange guest visits him in his small house where he lives with his mother.
