Artists' book., Title from laid in colophon with the signatures of the two creators and 2015 in manuscript., Larger volume contains minimal text, all in Arabic; smaller volume has text in Arabic and English., "Many religions tell creation stories. "Beginnings" uses images and text, translated from Arabic, to tell the story. While details of the story are similar, the form differs: The story in the Quran is split among many verses; in the Bible it is recounted as a linear narrative"--Colophon, laid in., "A small accordion book in the pocket of the cover contains text references translated from the Quran to an English translation.
