Picasso and surroundings, written in 1914, is his first publication. A man of great culture, he is close to Mayakovsky, futurist groups and then the “Negativists” (Dadaists). He translates and comments on the works of Shakespeare, Marlowe, Ben Johnson, Webster. In 1933, he devoted a monograph to Eisenstein. Ill, Axionov died in 1935.
