This work was obviously composed for the serasker Kara Moustafa Pasha, who captured this city by surprise; the Turks give this place the name Čehrin چهرين; the author says, at the end of his book, that he had intended to write the history of the last wars, but that the indifference of his contemporaries had made him abandon his projects, while Leroux, in his notes, affirms that he composed the history of the conquests made at the time of Mourad IV and Mohammed IV, in uninteresting forms. Turkish binding, in stamped and gilded brown leather.
