The purely religious history of Islam occupies a considerable place in this abridgement; in addition to the details of the sovereigns and governors of Egypt, we find there a description of the mosques of Cairo, the colleges, its monuments, its places, as well as the table of its civil and military administration. Luxury manuscript, decorated with a small sarloh, illuminated in gold and blue. Turkish binding, in stamped brown leather.
