The indications of divisions in ḥizb are generally indicated by circles of 20 mm in diameter, divided into four sections and colored in red and yellow while the indications of the subdivisions are framed in a sort of spiral. The titles of Surahs I to XXX are in yellow ink with an outline traced in black ink and in red from XXXI to CIV; the number of their verses is not mentioned. Decorations: on f. 1v two strips of 270 x 116 mm. In f. 43r a banner measuring 270 x 116 mm bears the title of Surah VII and another in f. 85r that of Surah XIX; in f. 161r, a strip of 114 x 50 mm. Half-bound parchment spine. Transliteration standard: ISO 233-2:1993, Information and documentation -- Transliteration of Arabic characters into Latin characters -- Part 2: Arabic language (the character ¨t is not used).
