Another redaction of the Mawrid al-laṭāfa of Yūsuf ibn Taġrībirdī extended until the caliphate of ʾAbd al-ʾAzīz ibn Yaʾqūb al-Mutawakkil for the Abbasids and until the reign of Qānsawḥ al-Ġawrī (906-922 h/1501-1517) for the Egyptian sovereigns. Additional mentions concern the beginning of the reign of the Ottoman sultan Sulaymān (926-974 h/1520-1566). Title in f. 2. Inc. (f. 3v): الحمد لله الذي جعل الدول مؤيدة بالخلفاء الراس بعد فقد ألّفت هذا التأريخ المختصر المفيد و اقتصرت فيه على ذكر الخلفاء و السلاطين من غير مزيد Exp. (f. 108v): ثمّ إن الناس قالوا ما هي عادة Cf. ms Arabic 1606; in BROCKELMANN (C), Geschichte der arabischen Literatur, Suppl. II 49-50, this manuscript appears in the list of those of Kitāb al-Ǧawhar al-ṯamīn of Ibn Duqmāq, but it is not this work (cf. AHLWARDT, n° 9711). Anonymous and undated copy. Marks of possession of ʿAbd al-Wahhāb ibn Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad al-Maṭarī and of Muḥammad ibn H̱araf (f. 108v); accounts of a tailor whose shop was located in Cairo, between H̱ān al-H̱alīlī and al-Azhar (f. 109v). After the response from Mawrid al-Laṭāfa of Yūsuf ibn Taġrībirdī prolongée jusqu’au califat of ʾAbd al-ʾAzīz ibn Yaʾqūb al-Mutawakkil for the abbassides and jusqu’au règne of Qānsawḥ al-Ġawrī (906-922 h / 1501-1517) for the Egyptians.
