Text with vocalization and orthoepic signs. Decorations in the shape of three inverted commas arranged in a triangle, in red ink, separate the verses. The word ʿ ašr, rubricated and placed in the margin, indicates the groups of ten verses. At the head of each surah appear its title and the number of its verses, in red ink. The indications of sağda, ğuz ʾ and ḥizb are placed in the margin and rubricated. At ff° 5 v° and 6 r°, the beginning of the text is inscribed in a fairly crude red linear frame. Western paper; an anchor-shaped watermark with the letter M. cf. Mošin (V.), Anchor Watermarks, Amsterdam, 1973 (Monumenta Chartae Papyraceae Historiam illustrantia, XIII), types 980-984. 275 fol. (274, plus f° 203 bis). 182 × 137mm. 15 lines per page. Writing surface: 113 × 76 mm. Black ink. Advertisements. Quinions. Western binding, red morocco with the arms and figure of Louis XV. At the beginning of the volume, a Western hand has numbered the groups of ten verses in Roman numerals (up to f° 24).
