Yemenite neskhi, with the subpunctuation of dal, copied by Ahmad ibn Hasan ibn Mohammad ibn Daoud ibn Ibrahim al-Hadji, dated, for the first chapter, from Wednesday 2 Shaʿban 952, for the third, from Friday 4 Shaʿban of the same year.. According to a note which is read at the end of the first chapter (folio 28 recto), this work, which is almost entirely made up of poetry, was written by Abu Saʿid ʿAbd al-Malik al-Asmaʿi, as the fact is reported in the Shadzarât al-dzahab, who also wrote the Taʾrikh moulouk al-ʿArab al-awwaliyya, which was composed on the orders of the Abbasid caliph, see no. 6726.
