The collection of manuscripts of the Villa Saint-Hilaire, Municipal Heritage Library of the City of Grasse, is made up of 124 manuscripts whose dates, attested or hypothetical, range from the 12th to the 19th century. Among them, three are medieval manuscripts, the others being mostly from the 18th and 19th centuries. The subjects covered are diverse: religious, legal, historical texts, travel diaries or light songs. Among this collection, 37 manuscripts have been digitized. At the beginning (modern writing): “This small manuscript, in Mogreb Arabic characters, is entitled “Hadjab mbarek”, that is to say the Holy Relic, prayer book, preceded by a calendar. On the next page: “The Holy Relic, prayer book, by Abderaman el mbarek. ". Les provenances ne sont pas toutes déterminées mais semblent toutes locales. Parmi les ex-libris, on retrouve Marcy, Albanelly, Demerigon, Jean-Baptiste Maubert Fragonard, tout comme dans le fonds des imprimés. Pour les textes religieux, le Séminaire de Vence, la Cathédrale de Grasse, l'abbaye de Lérins sont des origines certaines. Un ensemble homogène de "Mémoires à plaider" (Ms 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59) provient de la bibliothèque de Jean-Baptiste Maubert

Créé par conversion rétrospective des notices de manuscrits établies par J.-H. Albanès dans les années 1900. Ces notices, comme l'ensemble du catalogue sur fiche de la Bibliothèque Municipale Patrimoniale de la Ville de Grasse, ont d'abord fait l'objet d'une conversion rétrospective au format Unimarc. Les notices de manuscrits ont ensuite été encodées en XML conformément à la DTD EAD-2002 en 2013. L'encodage a été réalisé à l'aide du logiciel XML Editor par Annie Garra.
