(f. 1v): We begin by praising God, remembering Him, and thanking Him (...) and I have called this book of the Book of the News of the Time (...) Now to come, God Almighty and His Names are sanctified created His creation without necessity. Exp. et colophon (f. 132): God made this clear in His Noble Book, which He revealed to His Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace. The book “Akhbar al-Zaman” was completed and completed (...) by the weakest of God’s servants and the one most in need of mercy, forgiveness, and contentment, Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Masri. May God forgive him and forgive him and his two children and whoever was the reason for writing it and whoever read it (…). The completion of its copy fell on Friday the nineteenth of Jumada al-Awwal, one of the months of the year eight hundred and eighty-two. May God bless...
