At the top of each surah are its title and the number of its verses, in red ink. The indications of sağda and ḥizb, also rubricated, are found in the margins where traditions relating to the text have been added. Oriental paper. 162 fol. 258 × 173mm. 19 lines per page. Writing surface: 192 × 126 mm. Black ink. Quinions. Oriental flap binding; central plates (decoration erased) cold stamped on both covers. Defective at the end (I, 1-CXIII, 5 and title of CXIV). Syria? On the back covers, waqf and mentions of births from around 1030/1620-1621 which concern members of a family from the Baalbek region, including an Aḥmad b. Muḥammad al-?abrī.
