Gold dots separate the verses. At the head of each surah, a golden banner intended to receive its title has not been completed. On the initial double page, the text is arranged under a pediment inside two identical frames (ff° 1 v° and 2 r°); each of them is demarcated by a thick golden band starting from the upper edge of the page. The space thus defined is subdivided into a golden pediment, with a pink and green arabesque, placed above a central square where the text is inscribed inside a circle; the spandrels have a golden floral decoration on a black background. In the lower part there is a headband with a golden cartouche. The rest of the text is inscribed in a golden linear frame. Western paper. 144 fol. 123 × 80mm. 11 lines per page (except in ff° 1 v° and 2 r°: 7 l.). Reglure to the misṭara. Writing surface: 72 × 46 mm. Black ink. Advertisements. Quinions. Ottoman flap binding; on both boards, central plate in the shape of a polylobed mandorla (39 × 25 mm; simplified bouquet motif) and cold-stamped pendants on attached pieces of red leather (?) whose field has been gilded; frame made up of chained hatched Ss caught between two golden nets. This decoration is repeated for the covering, decorated with a plate with a simplified bouquet motif, also stamped on an attached piece then gilded.. Türkiye. Comes from the Guimet Museum.
