Colophon (f. 123): It was completed in writing on the blessed day of the eighteenth of the sacred month of Rajab al-Fard in the year 996 by the least of God Almighty’s servants and the one most in need of His pardon and forgiveness, Abd al-Basit ibn Suleiman bin Ahmed, the descendant of our master and lord, Imam Muhammad bin Idris Al-Shafi’i, may God forgive him... Cf. ms Arab 1631. Copy written by Abd al-Bāsiṭ ibn Sulaymān ibn Aḥmad, who published a copy of his book today (au Caire), and found it on March 18, 996/13, June 1588 (f. 123v).
