Corrections and marginal notes introduced by the word Ḥāšiya in red and whose sources are indicated by explicit abbreviations in f. 248v. Transmission of the work (f. 1). Reading certificate dated Wednesday 15 muḥarram 638 a.m. / August 6, 1240 at Dār al-ḥadīṯ at the Mustansiriyya madrasa in Baghdad. The transmitter is Muḥibb al-Dīn abū ʿAbd Allāh Muḥammad ibn Maḥmūd ibn al-Ḥasan al-Nağğār (578-643 h. /1183-1245, then director of the madrasa. See GAL, I² p. 442, Suppl. I p. 613, EI ², III, p. 920-921), the reader ʿAfīf al-Dīn Abū al-ʿIzz Yūsuf ibn al-Ḥasan ibn al-Ḥusayn al-Raqqām al-Mawṣilī, in the presence of Abū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī ibn Ismāʿīl Mušarraf al-Dimašqī, Abū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī ibn Aḥmad ibn ʿUṯmān al-Bawāzanğī, ʿAbd al-Muḥsin ibn Zawbaʿ ibn Muʿāfā al-Baṣrī, who transcribed the certificate (cf. G. Vajda, Certificates, p. 60-61) (f. 249), notes in Persian (f. 249v). The foliation includes two f. 214. Br. 38 is a tab. .
