Text with vocalization and orthoepic signs. Gold dots, sometimes enhanced with blue dots, separate the verses. At the head of each surah appear its title and the number of its verses; this indication is in gold characters in the first half of the volume, rubricated in the second. On the initial double page, the text of S. I and the beginning of S. II are arranged in a frame, inside “clouds” on a pink background (ff° 1 v° and 2 r°); this decoration is repeated, with some variations, for the middle (ff° 216 v° and 217 r°) and the end of the text (ff° 424 v° and 425 r°). The division into ğuz ʾ and quarters of ğuz ʾ is indicated in red in the center of concentric blue and gold circles; the location of the sağda is indicated by this word written in the margin in red ink. The text is inscribed in a linear blue and gold frame. Oriental paper. 425 fol. 195 × 130mm. 11 lines per page (except in ff° 1 v° and 2 r°, 424 v° and 425 r°: 7 l., and 216 v° and 217 r°: 5 l.). Reglure to the misṭara. Writing surface: 118 × 72 mm. Black ink. Advertisements. Oriental binding without flap, restored; back and edges in leather, boards covered with green paper on which the central plates (in the shape of a polylobed mandorla; 55 × 40 mm), the pendants and the spandrels, cut from silver paper were glued..
