Copy executed by Nuʿaym ibn Muḥammad al-Quraši al-Šāfiʿī, for a high Mamluk personage named Alṭunbuġā ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Ašqar al-Aqbuġawī and completed on 17 ǧumādā I 802 AH according to the copy of the autograph dated 585/1189, the autograph dating from 563/1167 (f. 89).. Comes from the Ducaurroy collection. — Manuscript acquired by Sudūn Dawādār reader of the Koran in Tripoli in Syria from the Qāḍī quḍāt Šihāb al-Dīn of Ṣafad in 828/1424; a mark of possession of Yaḥyā ibn Ḥaǧar al-Šāfiʿī dated 884/1479 and stamp in his name; two marks of possession from Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad... and Muḥammad ibn Mufliḥ al-Ḥanafī, another from Aḥmad al-Qurašī al-Šaʾmī (f. 2).. Oriental cardboard binding with flap; marbled paper with floral patterns on salmon backgrounds. Praise be to God who guided us to this, and we would not have been guided... The father was Exp. (f. 85 v): He was afraid to lean towards the rough road and to be careful not to surrender a whole, and if he surrendered it, he would not deliver an affirmative with it, sharing with someone who delimits it to the Muslim introduction, and he would not surrender two of them as a whole, or a positive and a negative of them as a whole, and he would not be careful not to surrender two parts or two negatives. How good is what the poet said: tend to easy speech, for it is ∴ from tableau chronologique donnant des noms de juristes, traditionnistes et califs (86-89).
