With a few exceptions (f. 51 sq.), the notebooks are quinions. In f. 48v, notes in Turkish with digital table; in f. 216, two rubāʿiyyāt in Persian. Some marginal glosses, passim. The various pieces in the collection, by Ottoman hands, seem to be of approximately the same date. Nos. I to VII, in Nasẖī of 13 to 15 lines per page, with rubr titles. and advertisements, are by the same hand: No. I was completed copying (f. 10v) on Monday 12 Muḥarram 961 A.H. (December 18, 1553) in Anṭākiyyā (Antioch) by Silaḥdār Yūsuf b. ʿAbd-ullāh and No. III was copied in 958 H. (1551), by the same, who indicates (f. 31) having been in the service of the late Dāʾūd Pāšā [Dāʾūd Pāšā, Vālī of Egypt, m. in 956H.]. No other piece bears a colophon, but there seem to be several pieces among Nos. VIII to No. XX, in Ottoman script of 15 lines, including Aḥmad b. ʿĪsà (f. 215v) could have been the copyist for his own use, and XXI (Nastaʿlīq of 15 lines by 2 columns) are by other hands. Written surfaces: between 80 × 150 and 120 × 160 mm. Ms. of 155 × 215.. (see f. 1).
