Notes Other file(s) linked to this institution: FRBAMCCFR-000060-01b.xml. Turkish Neskhi, from the beginning of the 18th century. Cut into book form. This table begins with Adam, and extends to the reigns of Sultans Moustafa II (1695) and Ahmed III (1703), sons of Mohammed IV, who are the last two princes cited in this manuscript, which is incomplete from its last leaves. The biographical notices are much more extensive than in the copy described under the previous number, but they are of no interest; moreover, the text which is written in the last leaves does not agree with the mention of the characters of the Osmanli family who are cited there, because it contains the story of events which happened more than two centuries before their birth. The last pages of the book are covered with notes, including the cryptographic system in tree figures. Western binding, in sheepskin.
