The entire collection burned during the fire of 1915. Other file(s) linked to this institution. Dated from the 21st year of the reign of Mohammed Shah, 1150 AH (1788). Some notes in English. In the catalog for the Garcin de Tassy sale (no. 2934), it is said: “Mr. Jomard gave the National Library a beautiful copy of this manuscript, decorated with drawings. It is this Persian work, written in prose, interspersed with verse, which was translated into English by Colonel Franklin, under the title: The loves of Camaroupa and Camalata (London, 1793); but this novel differs essentially from the Hindustani poem on the same subject. The names of the characters, with the exception of Kamroup, are not the same, and the adventures are much less interesting. ".
