See the typewritten notices of Georges Vajda for the Arabic manuscripts 2400 to 2759. Other redaction of the سرّالاسرار. On fol. 24 v° begins a speech by Plato, addressed to the Ephesians, on the vanity of riches, and further, (fol. 62), a letter addressed by Alexander to Porus, sovereign of India. The very ornate title of the ms. tells us that it was written for the library and during the lifetime of Princess Dilschâd (دلشاد خاتون). We know from the Gulschen al-Kholafâ, history of Baghdâd, of Nezmi-Zâdè, that a princess Dilschâd had for husband the shaïkh Ḥosaïn Il-khânî, governor of this city, who died in 757 of the hegira (1356 AD).
