A forger replaced the first folio with a frontispiece bearing the title Ǧāmiʿ al-tawārīẖ and attributing the work to Imam Ḥasan ibn Ibrāhīm al-Yāfiʿī, with a dedication to Sultan al-Malik al-Nāṣir (sic) Qalāʾūn.
