In f. 66v, 69, 75, 83v, 84v, 86, 86v and 101 are geometric figures relating to text no. II. Sometimes (f. 38v, 58v) they are omitted. In the copyist's hand we read two Persian bayt and a tradition in f. 2, various additions in the margins of text No. I (f. 8v, 10, etc.), a rubāʿī of Ǧāmī in f. 7, three rubāʿiyyāt in f. 33v, one of which is attributed to Abū ʿAlī Sīnā, another being the response of Abū Saʿīd Abī l-H̱ayr, the third that of Mawlānā Ḥakīm al-Dīn, and in f. 34 a short Persian extract about the darvīš. In f. 33 a quotation from the Adab al-musāfirān of Abū M. Rūyam Baġdādī and a Persian verse are signed Vāqif H̱alẖālī [Sunni emigrated to Aleppo where he died in 961 AH/1553-4, comp. H̱ayyāmpūr, Farhang-i suẖanvarān, Tabriz, 1340H., p. 641] and f. 34 an extract from the Rawḍat al-aḥbāb in Arabic and 8 Persian bayt are signed by the same Naṣr-ullāh Vāqif H̱alẖālī and dated to the beginning of Ǧumāda II d 1052H. (/end of August 1642) [sic] In f. 102, an inscription indicates that the volume was founded as a waqf by Sulaymān b. ʿAbd-ullāh Texts Nos. I and II are by the same hand, in cursive Nastaʿlīq Persian script of 11 lines per page. No. I is the author's autograph and no. II was also (f. 102v) copied by M. b. Zayn al-Dīn ʿAlī al-Ṣadīqī al-Ǧīlī, but is not dated. No. III, probably also in his hand, is in a more neglected handwriting. Advertisements. Written surface (nos. I and II) 70 × 120 mm. Ms. of 140 × 190.. Fragment of a commentary on the Qurʾān, concerning Surat XXX (al-Rūm). Incipit: بسم الم غلبت الروم فی (...) وغلبت بضم العین و سیغلبون بفتح الباء والارض ارض الغرب (...) Explicit: (...) الی ذلک لوقت والمراد [...]. Ms. coming from the Colbert library, where it is, like the ms. Persian 205 and Persian 382, ​​entered June 25, 1676, perhaps acquired in Constantinople by Wansleben [Omont, Missions..., Paris, 1902, II, p. 969] (a dimension “B.2.” appears on the upper backplate). A Latin notice by Renaudot and a notice signed by Armain (n° 248) have been inserted at the top. Ottoman cover binding covered with pink paper, lined with black morocco and lined with paper.
