Text recueilli by ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Maḥallī. Inc. (f. 1 v): Al-Rahman Al-Mahli Al-Azhari... When God blessed me with a meeting on the subject of the arts... Nour Al-Din Ali Al-Shabramalsi... Among the things I read to him was Abu Shuja’’s explanation of Al-Shams Ibn Qasim Al-Ghazzi, and benefits were gained from that... So I loved collecting them in these papers as a thank you to the one who followed Abu Al-Qasim’s message, and then he says... Abd Exp. (f. 73): He is spiteful. Indeed, Glory be to Him, Most Merciful and Loving, and my success is only through God, etc. And he made the end of Al-Husseini the end of his affairs... and he protected him from every envious person.
