Haği Khalifa rightly said, in his Bibliographic Dictionary, that it is a work mixed with lean and fat, dry and humid, which does not prevent us from finding interesting details there. This volume contains only part of the fourth volume; it begins with a chapter on the famous archers of the Ottoman Empire, from the reign of Sultan Mohammed II to that of Sultan Soleiman I, who ascended the throne in 926, after which comes the history of the reigns of Sultan Selim II and Sultan Murad III until 988 AH; the last leaf of the manuscript has been redone..
