This work was composed in 996 AH (1588) [folio 24 verso], according to a chronogram, which the copyist interpreted by 997 (1588-1589); it is written in an allegorical form, whose interpreters are the flowers and the nightingale, in a genre clearly imitated from Ferid ed-Din ʿAttar. On the last leaf we read the warning signs of the end of the world.. Gaulmin.. Turkish binding, in soft brown leather.
