The text of this work is followed by an extract from a treatise on medicine in verse (folio 98 recto), which, according to a colophon which can be read on folio 101 recto, is the work of Nidâyi, who, in fact, wrote a book of medicine in versified form; from the beginning of the Manafiʿ el-nas, by the same Kaïsounzade, containing approximately the text of the first ten chapters (folio 101 recto); of the قانون نامۀ مصر در زمان مرحوم ابراهيم پاشا, or imperial edict, regulating the affairs of Egypt at the time of the famous grand vizier Ibrahim Pasha, i.e. the edict promulgated by Soleiman I; a more complete copy exists under No. 82 of the Old Fund, in which the material is distributed differently, and which also contains a preface written in a pompous style; the present version of this Kanoun name is probably its original formula; it is dated to the year 930 AH (1524)..
