The title is given on folio 7 recto, and the name of the author, on folio 6 recto; the work (folio 6 verso) is dedicated to the grand vizier Mohammed Pasha; it is divided into ten books entitled maksad, details of which are given in the preface (folio 7 recto); ʿAbd el-Baki, or Mahmoud ʿAbd el-Baki, as Haği Khalifa (III, 265) calls him, is the famous Baki poet (d. 1008 AH = 1599). Luxury manuscript, decorated with a gold sarloh; the first leaves contain a very detailed table of contents, which refers to its oriental pagination. Turkish binding, in stamped brown leather, covered with an envelope of green silk.
