The title and name of the author are given on folio 3 recto, during a preface where there is the dedication to Sultan Mourad IV (1032-1049 AH = 1623-1640) [folio 2 recto]. Ahmed ibn Hemdem Ketkhoda compiled this work from Arab, Persian and Turkish chronicles and tezkeres, the list of which he gave on folio 3 verso; it is divided into thirty-one sections. Turkish binding, in stamped brown leather.
