XXXVII, 2, p. 215-262. Good Turkish neskhi, copied in frames traced in red ink, and dated the year 898 AH (1492-1493). This book is written in prose mixed with verse; the doctrine exposed there is illustrated by anecdotes. The author speaks above all of the practices of the esoteric Path, which bring man to union with the Divinity; perhaps he is the son of Ǧelal ed-Din el-ʿArif, known as Čelebi ʿArif, grandson of Ǧelal-ad-Din Roumi. Its text is preceded and followed by extracts of all kinds: sermons, in Arabic; a kasid, in Turkish, on the conditions of the validity of prayer; a pamphlet in Arabic, without title or author's name, in which traditions on prayer, and different subjects of theology and religion are brought together.. Renaudot.. Turkish binding, in stamped brown leather.
