Sample Text This pamphlet was composed in 991 AH (1583) by Sheikh Sinan el-Mekki, who studied for more than twenty years the books relating to the pilgrimage, and wrote two in Arabic, the Ihya el-hağğ, and the Kourrat el-ouyoun, which he abridged in the present Manasik, which is divided into twenty chapters, the details of which are given in the preface.
