A series of traditions attributed to Muhammad, dealing with the inalienable rights of his descendants to the sovereignty of the world of Islam, taken from an Arabic work entitled مفتاح الجنان “the Key to Paradise” (folio 1 verso); the وصيّت نامه, or “Book of Advice”, written by the Sufi of Herat, that is to say the saint Khaǧa ʿAbd Allah Ansari, for the use of Khaǧa Nizam elMoulk Tousi, in Persian (folio 4 verso); a fragment of a pamphlet, incomplete from its beginning, with which the name of its author has disappeared, and from its last leaves, in which are recorded the conversations that Allah had with Moses, in Arabic (folio 10 recto); the كنز الاخبار, collection of sentences attributed to Mohammed, in Arabic (folio 37 recto); the title of Kenz el-akhbar is only given in the colophon, and we read, in the superscription, that of من كلام النبى عليه السلام, which is not a title strictly speaking; a fragment of a treatise in Arabic on Muslim traditions (folio 55 recto), two chapters of which speak, one, of the virtues of Friday (folio 67 recto), the other, of those of the month of Ramadhan (folio 72 verso); in the latter, the authority of Masabih is cited; a pamphlet, in Arabic, without title or author's name, beginning without preface, containing traditions on the ʿibâdât (folio 79 verso); it is divided into seven maǧlis, followed by several sections; it talks about ablution, prayer, science, the excellence of the Koran, the qualities and faults of man, etc. ; this work is followed by formulas of talismans (folio 112 verso) and various fragments, the most important of which are a فتوت نامه, or treatise on Nobility, in Turkish (folio 134 verso), from the mystical point of view, with the esoteric genealogy of a character, named Sari Saltak, who was adorned with it; a pamphlet in Turkish on the literal cabala (folio 137 verso); a booklet, also in Turkish, on the essential principles of Mysticism, entitled خطبۀ طريقت (folio 141 verso).. Renaudot.. Bound in yellow calfskin.. Updated by SY in 2019
