On f. 1, we read a Persian qaṣīda in praise of the 4 caliphs and directed against the Rāfiẕ ī and H̱āriǧī and a rubāʿī and, in the same hand, in f. 157v, the beginning of a text in Arabic on dreams. In f. 1v an Arab tradition and invocation. In f. 2 pen essays. In f. 154v two short quotations from H̱ w āǧa Maʿrūf Karẖī and ʿAbd-ullāh Anṣārī, in Persian, from the hand which wrote pieces III-VI Anonymous and undated Indian copies. No. I is of three hands: the f. 2v-87v are in Nastaʿlīq of 14 to 17 lines per page with rubric titles (80 × 25 to 135 mm. written surface); the f. 88-97v redone later to complete the copy; the f. 98-145v in Nastaʿlīq of 17 lines (75 × 130), end with a colophon (f. 145) indicating that the ms. was copied for his use by ʿAbd al-Laṭīf b. Ḥabīb-ullāh b. Maḥmūd Kanbū. No. II is in another cursive hand, while nos. III to VI are in the same hand, in Nastaʿlīq of 15 to 25 lines. Ms. of 145 × 205.. Incipit: بسم (...) یوم الدین (...). Ms. acquired in Aleppo by Wansleben and sent to the Royal Library in September-December 1671., A notice signed by Armain (no. 267) is inserted at the head. Indian or Persian binding in black morocco with cold-stamped overlapping of a central plate in polylobed mandorla (52 × 71; decoration apparent in NSd type), spandrels (on each cover 2 are of one type, 2 of another, on the cover one of each type), a central medallion in polylobed pomegranate on the cover and fillet borders. Red morocco linings.
