The first (folio 1 verso), which is incomplete with its last leaves, contains the events of the reigns of Sultans Selim II and Murad III; the second (folio 61 recto) begins at the bottom of a page with a chapter in which is narrated the manner in which the Karamanians performed on the world stage, in the year 676 AH (1277), under the reign of the Sultan of Egypt el-Melik el-Zahir Baïbars; it contains an uninteresting summary of Osmanli history until the end of the reign of Sultan Soleiman II; the text of these extracts is, in many places, interrupted by spaces which have been left blank..
