This work, which is written in the genre of the novel by Seyyid Battal, to which it is linked, is divided into seven sessions; In this novel it is about Melik Ghazi Mohammed, or better Mohammed Gumushteguin, son of Tilou Danishmend, who, parallel to the Seljuks, founded in Cappadocia, around 1105, an empire which extended over the cities of Sivas, Kaïsariyye, Malatiya. The historian Hezarfenn descends this prince from Seyyid Battal, or Abu Mohammed Ğaʿfer ibn Sultan Hoseïn ibn ʿAbbas el-Hashimi el-Malati. The Danishmendites took an active part in the wars against the Greek Empire and against the Crusaders, and their monarchy ended up being absorbed by that of the Seljuks of Rum.
