Mohammed, nicknamed Manla, son of Maula Ahmed ibn Seïf Allah el-Nakhčouvani al-Moudarris, who completed the copy of the Tashil during the night of Thursday, ninth day of the month of Safar in the year 1056 AH (May 9, 1642).. This pamphlet is divided into three short chapters, dealing respectively with the characteristics and idiosyncrasies of medical science; food and medicine; diagnosis of diseases and their treatment. The author, in his preface, apologizes for having written it in Turkish so that it could be of general use. Another copy of this work can be found under No. 1271 of the Supplement. The text of the Tashil is followed (folio 62 verso) by برؤ الساعة, a pamphlet in Arabic, in which Mohammed ibn Zakaria el-Razi treats diseases that can be cured very quickly, which was composed at the desire of the vizier Aboul-Kasim ibn ʿAbd Allah. The first and last pages of the manuscript are covered with notes borrowed from various medical treatises written in Persian or Arabic. Haği Pasha lived during the reign of Bayezid Yildirim, and died on a date after the year 800 AH (1397).. Vansleb.. Turkish cardboard.
