The verses are not separated. Rubricated circles placed in the text and accompanied in the margin by the word ʿ ašr in red ink mark the groups of ten verses. At the top of each surah are its title and the number of its verses, in red ink. On the initial double page the text of S. I and the beginning of S. II are arranged in a frame; the title and number of verses is inscribed in silver ṯuluṯ characters on the gold background of the cartouches of the four banners (ff° 1 v° and 2 r°). The indications of sağda and those of division in ḥizb are written in the margin in red ink. Oriental paper. 328 fol. 238 × 171mm. 11 lines on the page. Writing surface: 177 × 113 mm. Black ink. Quaternions. Oriental binding whose flap has disappeared; decoration consisting of two superimposed crosses enhanced with punches arranged in groups of four on the branches and in the center of the motif; this iron is used to create the border of the field (this decoration was added during a restoration).
