We find in this collection a fairly considerable part of the Moqaddimât al-Adab of Al-Zamakhscharî, and a large number of passages in Turkish, with transcription in European characters and notes in Arabic, Persian and Latin. This volume bears the signature of Galland, who was in Constantinople in 1670. First part written at the beginning of Safar 1066 h. / November 30 - December 28, 1655 by ʿAlī ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Ifranğī in Constantinople (f. 153v)
