Transcription en turc, caractères latins: "Wishing to be proud of the citizenship of our great friend Pierre Loti, one of the most literary and academic members of France, who has a thorough knowledge of the moral and spiritual rights of the Turkish nation and the Islamic Ummah, and who defended themselves and declared the truth in the most difficult times and despite all the odds. "For the first time, the city of Istanbul confers the title of fellow citizens with the approval of the General Council of the Municipality." Don Schiller.. 6 lignes en tout, encre noire. Document entièrement enluminé : Ff. 1r et 2v : médaillons à motif floral doré, bleu clair, vert, rouge et bleu nuit, portant une signature différente sur chacun des cercles centraux également dorés . Le texte sur les f. 1v et 2r est encadré par trois fois, de l'exterieur vers l'intérieur, une double ligne fine à l'encre noire remplie de peinture dorée, un cadre de 3 cm de largeur à décor floral sur fonds bleu nuit et un dernier d'environ 8 mm de largeur à motif torsadé, doré. Le f. 1r commence avec un sarloh enluminé et se termine avec une décoration couvrant deux tiers du feuillet 2v à décor floral, doré, portant au mielieu un sceau.
